Our Residencies Are For People Who Want To:
- Work remotely in a different place and rhythm.
- Breathe fresh air, watch the sunset, and stargaze everyday.
- Bring the writing, business, research, or creative project that you've been needing to focus on.
- Learn alongside the people growing, harvesting, building, and cooking here.
- Share meals and meaningful conversations while having enough time to keep for yourself.
- Embrace the edges of living in nature. Uneven paths, insects, and the elements are part of the stay.

Casitas
Each casita is shaped by the land it sits on. Clay, wood, living roofs, natural forms. An intimacy with place you won't find behind plate glass. These are spaces designed to quiet the noise, not add to it.
Each one features a private stargazing net slung open to the night sky and an outdoor shower that dissolves the boundary between you and the land around you.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Four steps. You apply, which takes about five minutes: who you are, when you want to come, and how long you want to stay. A person reads every application properly, because we keep each cohort small and balanced rather than taking bookings first come, first served. Applying is not an instant booking. If the dates, the room, and the experience look like a fit, the team comes back to you about all three, and about payment. Once you are accepted you get a named contact, one person rather than a shared inbox, who helps with flights, the drive up from Nosara, and what to bring, right up to arrival.
No. There is a light rhythm, shared meals, and optional activities, but no fixed curriculum to complete. You keep your own work, rest, and creative time.
No. We invite guests to bring any offerings they feel called to. If you want to you are welcome to share knowledge, teach a class, lead movement - but it is not a requirement. All activities are completely optional.
We collaborate with co-working communities, mastermind groups, and other organizations from around the world to co-host residencies. Apply through the form below and tell us about your group, and we will come back to you about dates, space, and what co-hosting involves.
Tierramor is located in the mountains above Ostional. We are a 15 minute drive from the beaches and wildlife refuge of Ostional, and 25 minutes from Nosara and the beaches of Guiones and Pelada.
Guanacaste has two distinct seasons - each offering a unique expression of colours, textures, harvests and wildlife. Dry season begins in December and carries through to the first rains of May. During this season we welcome warm winds, clear skies, super blooms and golden hillsides - while the beaches and town welcome more visitors. From May until November, the land becomes green again, calling in abundant harvests, full rivers and a diversity of wildlife - with much smaller crowds on the beach and in the ocean. Rainfall each month may vary, with a break in June and July for Veranillo de San Juan - a little summer that offers a break from the rains. During September and October, our team and land take a much needed break while the heaviest of the rains return.
