TODO(javi): what is actually in the beds, and when. Leafy greens year round, or does the dry season change everything?
Aerial footage of the Tierramor land, farm, gardens, and buildings in the foothills of Nosara.
The farm · Río Montaña, Nosara
Eight hundred acres cleared for cattle decades before we arrived. What grows here now is what happens when you stop grazing land and start feeding it.

Why we grow what we grow
TODO(javi): the real reasoning. The shape of the answer: degraded pasture cannot grow vegetables straight away, so the first crops are the ones that rebuild the soil rather than the ones that sell best. Nitrogen fixers, deep-rooted species, and trees that make shade for everything planted after them.
TODO(javi): what came second, and what that made possible. This is where the sequence becomes concrete - which species went in first, what they changed, and what could be planted once they had.
TODO(javi): what the farm feeds now. Residents, neighbours, the Friday table, and the soil itself through the biofactory.
What grows here
TODO(javi): one paragraph on the growing system - what is in the ground now, what is seasonal, and what the animals contribute.

TODO(javi): what is actually in the beds, and when. Leafy greens year round, or does the dry season change everything?

TODO(javi): the agroforestry lines and the fruit trees. Which species, and how long until they bear.

TODO(javi): what animals are on the farm and what they do for the system, not only what they produce.

TODO(javi): fish emulsion, potassium soap, and liquid mountain microorganisms, made here. Why making inputs beats buying them in bags.
The people
TODO(heather): one line framing the team. The farm runs on people who have been growing in this climate far longer than Tierramor has existed.
TODO(javi): role
TODO(javi): background and what you actually do day to day. Where you learned, what you were doing before Tierramor, and what part of the farm is yours.

What comes off the farm

Preserves, ferments and salad from the harvest, plus the soil inputs we make in the biofactory.

Native, fruit and ornamental plants, grown for our own land and supplied to landscapers, architects and developers.

Friday dinner from the morning harvest, plus workshops on the farm through the season.
The easiest first taste is a Friday dinner. The deepest one is a residency.
